We occupy four buildings on the Cambridge Science Park, including our flagship building, which is affectionately known as the "toast rack" and has become something of an iconic image for the park.
Our flagship building was completed in the 1980s and the external appearance has stood the test of time. It houses our production facility and laboratories, as well as our office-based production staff. Later in 2009, we will begin to refurbish the interior of the building to bring it in line with our core values and leadership attributes, and to provide the staff based in that building with an uplifting environment in which to work and socialise.
We began to outgrow our headquarters building in the 1990s, and we gradually spread to occupy three other buildings at separate locations on the Science Park. However, the desire to feel more connected as a company led us to bring our staff back onto one location in February 2009 with the opening of three new buildings a short walk from our main headquarters building. The interiors of these new buildings have been designed with our core values and leadership attributes in mind. The working environment is almost exclusively open plan, and our MD and most of the rest our Leadership Team members work in the open plan areas. It is a light, airy and inspiring place to work, with flexible enclosed spaces and numerous breakout areas available for use for quiet concentration or meetings.
In addition to our working buildings, we also have a clubhouse on site that is home to our Sports and Social Club. The facilities include a spacious meeting and events space, and a bar.
