We do all we can to ensure that our employees are safe in their working environments, whether that is in an office area, out on the road in a company car or in our production facilities. We have full-time Health & Safety and Occupational Health staff involved in every aspect of our business, and we provide the very best in safety equipment and training. Our Occupational Health team also supports employees to live healthier lifestyles by pro-actively raising awareness of important health problems, such as high blood pressure, and testicular and breast cancer, and providing advice and support on wellness, such as quitting smoking.
With so many different demands on our time, we know that it can sometimes be hard to balance home and work, so we have a number of policies designed to help, including flexible working hours wherever possible, the opportunity to buy or sell holiday, and enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
We also provide private health insurance for employees and an employee assistance programme (EAP), which is open to employees and their families. The EAP provides a telephone helpline staffed by people who are equipped to give advice on a range of topics, from legal queries to counselling.
